The Industrial Fabrics Foundation (IFF) recently announced the recipient of the 2010 Fabric Graphics Association (FGA) Membership Scholarship. The recipient is Fritz Maddrell, sponsored by Portland Color, Portland, Maine. Maddrell is pursuing a degree in International Business at Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. He is an avid photographer and enjoys shooting natural landscapes.
The scholarship is funded by FGA, a division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service, financial need and interest in a future career in the specialty fabrics industry. To qualify for the FGA Member Scholarship award, applicants must be employed by or related to an employee of a FGA member company.
Applications for the next FGA scholarship award will be available in January. Deadline for all applications is May 1, 2010. Recipients will be notified by the end of May, with money going to the school for the fall semester.
