Haltom City, Texas, is a community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a long history. It was the county seat of the early Birdville Settlement, which was established four years before Texas became a state. It remained the Tarrant county seat until 1856 when Fort Worth won the designation in an election.
The Haltom City Public Library wanted to honor the town’s history and recognize Janie and Travis Royal, two long-time library patrons. So they commissioned the mural that depicts the city’s past.
The library worked The Bubble™, Irving, Texas, to create the six-foot by 16-foot design that tells the story of the community’s history through a series of photographs depicting the city’s past, present and future. Offering more services than a typical creative agency, The Bubble is a one-stop shop that manufactures many of the products it designs.
The company established its in-house manufacturing capabilities in 2012 with an HP printer, Seal-made laminator and 3M films.
