Global Imaging’s PrinterEvolution Evo33 dye sub printer had its color range expanded recently with the introduction of Orange and Violet ink, the first in the industry according to the company. “Orange and Violet colors provide metric accuracy that discerning customers require for Pantone® matching,” says PrinterEvolution CEO Greg Lamb. “This has been important for exhibit houses who need very rich and vibrant hues that are challenging to achieve on traditional CMYK or CMYK Lc Lm.”
