Tri Vantage now offers version 4.12 of Canvas Link Awning Composer, an update of the popular awning-design software. Among the enhancements to the new software is a casual furniture component, which allows users to customize casual furniture with specific fabric styles. Awning Composer allows fabricators to design 3-D awning models and superimpose them onto digital images of a customer’s home or building. Updates include more detailed models, an online download and 12 different frame colors for awnings.
The new Dickson® Orchestra North American Collection consists of 91 patterns, 25 of which are new to the North American market. New fabrics include solid colors like gold and linen and feature striped patterns that combine neutral colors like beige, gray and black with bold colors like orange and burgundy. The solution-dyed woven-acrylic fabric is water repellent, mildew resistant, colorfast and durable. A nonpuckering fabric, it is coated with a special finish that delays the formation and accumulation of dirt. Dickson fabrics measure 47 inches wide and 8.7 ounces per square yard on 65-yard rolls.
New motor and hood options for Solair® Comfort retractable awnings are now available. A new optional motor kit with an 18-foot cord and plug, crown, drive, single channel remote, extra screws and installation instructions is now available when a Solair Comfort unit is ordered. An optional hood is now offered to protect the fabric and motor while providing a finished look. Frame components of Solair Comfort are electrostatic powder-coated to provide corrosion resistance. Available frame colors include white and latte.
Solair® Window Awning for residential and commerical use is a drop-arm retractable awning available with manual or motorized operation. Solair Window Awning is available in widths up to 12 feet and offers three projection selections: 28, 39, and 59 inches. The awning’s aluminum frame components are electrostatic powder-coated to provide a high-quality, corrosion-resistant finish, in a choice of white or latte colors. Produced with prefabricated covers from a variety of fabrics, including Sunbrella®, Sunbrella® Mayfield Collection® and Dickson® fabrics with a wide range of colors, patterns and textures available.
MIST-ER-COMFORT® misting kits for boats uses a boat’s water supply for hours of cool mist, which can drop temperatures by up to 25 degrees. The MIST-ER-COMFORT Patio Mister forms a cool curtain-like barrier, separating patio areas from the surrounding hot areas. MIST-ER-COMFORT Standard Boat Kit includes three mister heads, six mounting straps, 28-foot polyethylene tubing, a through-floor insert, a special 1/2-inch tee adapter kit, an on/off valve and an automatic drain valve while the MIST-ER-COMFORT Custom Boat Kit with Pump includes a 125psi pump with filter and automatic drain, four mister heads and 35-foot polyethylene tubing.
Herculite® Natura™ Awning Fabric is a textile that features the look and feel of woven cloth on both sides. The fabric is waterproof, weathertight and highly flame resistant. Applications include commercial awnings and canopies. Herculite Natura features the Rain-Kleen® II protective finish, and resists stain and mildew. This dimensionally stable fabric is digitally printable, and heat and RF sealable.
AwnTex 160® fabric provides shade without trapping heat or airflow, making it ideal for awning and umbrella applications. This 36- by 16-count woven polyester mesh fabric is flame retardant and resists UV rays, mildew and rot. AwnTex 160 has an approximate openness of 13.9 percent and a shade factor of 88-90 percent.
Ferrari Color Design 502 Précontraint® fabrics are now available in 12 striped patterns. This fabric offers dimensional stability, flame-retardant weather resistance and durability. Ferrari 502 Stripes consist of a coating thickness on the top of the yarns, which is much thicker than conventional coated fabrics. Applications include awnings, sail shade, canopy and light structure applications, market umbrellas or interior decorative shades.
