The FORPLAST-P automatic overlap welder has a new hem welding kit for use in the tarpaulin and advertising banner industry. The hem guide folds the material over into a welding position as the machine automatically rolls forward, which allows the blower heat and pressure wheel to create a consistent, strong hem along the edge of the material. Hem kits are available for 20mm, 30mm and 45mm hems and can be attached to the FORPLAST-P automatic welding machine.
The FORSTHOFF Quick-SE hot air welding tool features an ergonomic tapered handle. As part of the new handle design, the temperature controls and power switch are now conveniently located at the base of the handle. The Quick-SE has an air output of 200 liters per minute, temperatures up to 1290 degrees F and a lifespan of more than 1,500 hours. The hot air welding tool is available at 120V, 1600W or 230V, 1500W.
In addition to cutting synthetic fabrics, the new AZTC-20 electronic thermocutter cuts plastic tubes, fiber optics, foam and similar materials. The AZTC-20 weighs 11.5 ounces, can be adjusted from zero to 1050 degrees F by thumb and the handle stays cool.
