As the official publication of the Fabric Graphics Association (FGA), Fabric Graphics partners with the association to serve the fabric and graphics industries as a source for information and inspiration.

FGA exists to help its members manage new challenges with valuable networking opportunities, workshops and special programs and resources.
It is a valuable business partner because its members are focused on textiles and graphics, and are always exploring new opportunities in these markets. In addition, award-winning IFAI publications deliver timely information that impact daily business, and the FGA Web site serves as a great tool for sourcing fabric- and graphics-related products and services. Whether it is a regional workshop, a specific task force assignment or a symposium at IFAI Expo, members are seeking other members for solutions for tomorrow’s projects.
New FGA services
The Certification Task Force of IFAI recently completed reorganization of the Fabric Graphics Certification Program. IFAI professional certification programs are a collaborative effort between IFAI and certified industry professionals.
- A master fabric craftsman has five years of industry experience developing superior standards of excellence.
- A certified project planner demonstrates superior knowledge and skills in salesmanship, design and specifications of specialty fabric products.
Companies are provided news releases, logo slick for use on business cards, letterhead, advertising pieces, Web site and niche market brochures to explain certification to customers.
The Industrial Fabrics Foundation announces the FGA Scholarship Program for 2009. FGA is funding a $1,500 scholarship for family members or siblings of employees of FGA member companies pursuing a degree in an accredited college, university or technical college in the area of graphics, textiles or related programs. The application form will be available early this year at www.fabricgraphicsassociation.com. The scholarship will be awarded for the 2009–2010 school year.
