Hearst Brand Development has unveiled a licensing agreement with Jardin de Ville, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to design and distribute a distinctive line of branded outdoor home furnishings, bringing a high level of luxury to the sophisticated home market. The first of several Jardin de Ville Town & Country collections debuted at North Carolina’s High Point Market last fall.
The Pavilion cabana-like shelter features a retractable roof, sturdy, easy-to-install framing and flowing privacy curtains. The structure is accompanied by a six-piece modular collection of deep seating, including a sleek black daybed, armless chairs and two-seaters, hand-wickered from round weave Hularo® fibers (Dedon GmbH, Germany), a hard-wearing, high-quality synthetic European material that is dirt-repellent, toxin-free, biodegradable and recyclable. Luxuriously thick cushions and accent pillows, standard in white, charcoal and red Sunbrella® fabric, are also customizable in a full range of colors and patterns.
