The North East Canvas Products Association (NECPA), a trade association dedicated to helping member companies by generating interest and demand for products made from outdoor fabrics, has announced its newly elected officers for 2008.
David Randa, owner and co-president of ViewPoint Sign & Awning, Marlboro, Mass., U.S.A., will serve as president of the association. Tonya Ricketts, owner and president of The Canvas Lady in Warwick, R.I., will serve as vice president; and Scott Massey, owner and president of Awning Cleaning Industries in New Haven, Conn., is now second vice president.
The announcement was made at the organization’s 2008 Conference and Expo held in Springfield, Mass., in January. Membership in NECPA is open to manufacturers and fabricators of outdoor fabric-based products, equipment and service suppliers to the trade, as well as distributors, wholesalers and retailers of canvas and other outdoor fabric-related products and services in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
