The opening credits show various photographic and painted views, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, superimposed on the New York landscape: A statue of the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a military headdress and a bone choker necklace (breastplate), set atop the Brooklyn Bridge. The West Gate Arch on Highway 66, set on the main “avenue” of Manhattan. In New York, in the Manhattan area, there are several numbered “avenues” that intersect with smaller, numbered streets.

I don’t think any other actor could play this role. Sly is bigger than the small screen and has been given the best lines on this show. I’ve only seen episode 1 on YT, I don’t have Paramount, but if there’s more on YT, I’ll definitely watch it.
He is getting old
His secondary cast is nameless, I didn’t recognize the other actors. And filming in Tulsa gives the show a “spiciness” compared to filming on location in Hollywood. I think Stallone peaked with the Creed movies and this TV show.
That’s what he needs
I’m glad he moved away from these militants, which I think he’s outgrown. Watch our review of Yellowstone (Season 5, Part 2), Squid Games (Season 2) and other highly anticipated new and returning TV and streaming series.
