Chronology
Unravel the mystery of a town in the American Midwest that traps anyone who enters it. As the townspeople struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Villa, the site has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc.
When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support the workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are paved streets and driveways, and a fake town has been built on top of them. The rope is thrown to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists are chained.

However, despite the deep third of the season, we are still left with more questions than ever. Instead of giving us any real answers, it feels like the show is just adding more layers to the mystery. If From keeps holding back and not revealing anything, it could lose viewers who want to at least see the truth.
