Iosso receives sustainability award

Iosso Products, Elk Grove, Ill., received an award for Excellence in Sustainability at the Elk Grove Manufacturers Expo held on Oct. 10, 2016. The award acknowledged Iosso’s bio-based formulas that are alternatives to petroleum-based products. They not only are healthier for workers and the environment, but they also create jobs in rural communities and reduce dependence on foreign oil. Bio-based formulas preserve an ecological balance by avoiding depletion of natural resources. The products also carry the USDA-certified bio-based label verifying that their renewable bio-based ingredients meet or exceed prescribed USDA standards.
