Somfy Systems Inc. has announced that it has been awarded the Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) award for best new style concept in the motorization category for their DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS custom engraved wall switch. The DecoFlex WireFree RTS battery powered wall switch can be used to control any Somfy RTS motorized product and can now be personalized with custom engraved buttons for intuitive window covering control.
The WCMA hosts an annual competition that recognizes the year’s best products and merchandising programs in a variety of different categories. A panel of industry judges reviews nominated products for their technical innovations, style concepts and overall designs. All entries are featured on the WCMA website throughout the year.

The DecoFlex WireFree RTS wall switch offers a personalized way to control motorized window coverings. It is available in one, two, three, four and five channel versions with buttons that can be custom engraved. Engraving options include a nine character maximum (including spaces) for the top six buttons and a five character maximum for the bottom two command buttons. Customers can choose from four button colors (white, ivory, almond and black) and select their own character type, such as all capitalized, first letter capitalized or custom. The custom engraved option is also available with the DecoFlex WireFree RTS tabletop accessory, which allows the traditional switch to be converted to a tabletop control.
