Fully flame-retardant Weathertyte/Weathertyte Lite is designed for awnings and canopies. The waterproof textile is fungus and mildew resistant and comes in 11 and 16 ounce options. Available in a wide range of colors, the vinyl looks and feels like a woven fabric.
BrrrX W0058 denim bottomwear is used in denim wear, jackets and shoes, as well as in the outer shells of backpacks, travel kits and similar products. The yarns have a core sheath construction: a spandex yarn in the center for elasticity is wrapped with a co-extruded polyester/nylon yarn, which contains the cooling minerals. The outermost yarn is composed of staple viscose fibers that help maintain the denim feel.
BrrrXW0047-1 100 percent brrr nylon lining is recommended for suit linings, backpack linings and mens’ and womens’ wear lining fabrics. It was used in the Jos. A. Banks and Men’s Wearhouse cooling sport coats. Passive cooling does not interrupt the function of any other finishes.
BrrrXK0037 is designed for activewear, athleisure, outerwear and accessories. This product was used as a hat lining for Game Headwear hats. It also offers excellent UV protection (UPF 50+).
Brrr cool fabrics have the brrr Triple Chill Effect (TCE) for superior cooling, active wicking and rapid drying. Core of the TCE are the naturally sourced cooling minerals embedded in the fiber matrix during yarn extrusion—they’ll never wash away, are unaffected by chemicals and are hypoallergenic. A number of different fabrics are available.
BrrrXK0027 provides a comfortable base layer for skiing, fishing and snow jackets. The polyester/propylene jersey is made in collaboration with Fiber Visions’ new dyeable polypropylene, which also includes odor-resistant technology.
BrrrX 574 can be used in summer men’s and women’s apparel, as well as for activewear and athleisure attire. The natural cooling mechanism does not need to be wetted or snapped to cool.
Intended for enclosures, welding curtains, and marine and automotive applications, Tinted Clear PVC is a 14 mil, 72.5 inch tinted double-polished product, allowing light to filter through while providing privacy and protection. Available in red, blue, green, yellow and charcoal.
Sol-Out solution-dyed acrylic fabric is powered by Durashine™ Fiber and is produced by advanced solution-dyed “Weather-Guard” technology for weather and UV resistance and color retention. Fabrics do not fade for more than five years under direct exposure to sunlight. Highest level of UV protection, chemical resistance against acid/alkali/salt spotting and high abrasion resistance.
Designtex and Coalesse Design Studios have jointly produced Designtex + Coalesse, a collection of nine patterned textiles that showcases unique insights across textile and furniture design to offer upholstery fabrics that explore color, geometry and the tactility of fine fibers. All products in the collection meet or exceed ACT contract standards. From Designtex’s own closed-loop yarn, to the finely milled wool and linen, and pre-consumer recycled cotton recovered from T-shirt manufacturing, each material was sourced and selected to imbue a layer of richness, nuance and ecological responsibility into the final designs.
With exceptional resistance to humidity, and including a mold-prevention treatment, Docril® N waterproof 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic fabrics are recommended for use in nautical awnings, canopies and pergolas, where wet climates and splashing water are common. The special anti-putridity finish prevents the growth of micro-organisms. A technical coating applied balances colors on both sides of the fabric. Other benefits include UV protection, maximum color fastness, oil repellency and a self-cleaning finish.
Designed and manufactured for performance and durability outdoors, Docril acrylic fabrics are certified in compliance with the UV Standard 801 (European Standard) with the highest possible protection factor of 80. Suitable for long exposure to weather and for the manufacturing of solar protection systems, Docril is recommended for awnings, sunshades and umbrellas.

(NIPI) are collaborating to create a new category of insulation: a seamless sheet of fabric blending DuPont™ Sorona® and NIPI™ Thindown® to enhance the warmth, comfort and design flexibility of insulation for outerwear. High-performance Sorona fiber is bio-based, bringing softness, drape and stretch recovery to the new material. Thindown transforms traditional down filling into a seamless sheet of material. Combined, they further revolutionize down applications for insulation that delivers on performance and sustainability.
A combination durable coated fabric and PU topskin, which is phthalate-free and contains no plasticizers, ESSENTIALS is used in marine products, health care settings, restaurant seating and outdoor upholstery. With UV-stabilized pigments for outdoor durability, excellent abrasion resistance and a cold crack of –20 (F), it also meets flammability requirements.
