Graphics One LLC (GO), Burbank, Calif., is launching the first direct-to-fabric printer under $15,000. The high-performance, 42-inch printer was developed for the flag and banner market. Priced at $14,995, the RIO TX comes with Wasatch SoftRIP for RIO, new ink delivery system, fabric drying system and fabric media handling system. The RIO TX can also image on paper. GO will introduce an ink later this year for the RIO TX that will image on uncoated cotton, nylon, wool and a variety of other fabrics. The printer offers an optional 44-inch sublimator for curing imaged fabrics.
