I’ve heard that the U.S. government is giving incentives to businesses for insulating their buildings. Where can I get more information?

We contacted the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and were informed that there are tax incentives for U.S. business owners who make their operations more energy efficient. We were directed to two different sources of information:
The Tax Incentives Assistance Project (TIAP) is described on its Web site as being a resource intended to give both consumers and businesses information regarding the federal income tax incentives for energy-efficient products that were part of the Energy Policy Act passed by Congress in 2005. In the business section of the site, under commercial buildings, it goes over the details of the incentive, including requirements for eligibility and how to qualify.
The Building Technologies Program is more of a general site on efficient building practices for new construction and renovation. It includes a link to EnergyPlus, a downloadable energy simulation program that you can use to assess your building’s current energy use.
